Abstract

North Carolina libraries are experiencing an unprecedented demand for Spanish language materials and services for recent immigrant populations due to one of the fastest growing Latino populations in the country. In this article, three Hispanic services librarians were interviewed on topics including library outreach, programs and classes in Spanish, administrative and community support, and overcoming the language barrier.
