Abstract

In recent decades, as academic librarians have achieved tenure-track or even special faculty status, a growing professional consensus has emerged that theyshould uphold this status by actively engaging in research and publication. This article reports one project at Joyner Library at East Carolina University analyze scholarly electronic journals.
